So here it is.. our entry for our motion graphics department challenge (to win an iPad) And I think we have a really good chance.

Concept Description:
The goal of this concept is to move away from artificial 3D environments and place the KOL in a live, real-world setting. The concept would combine live-action shots and photographic stills with tracked and composited 2D/3D graphics. The environments can either be indoor our outdoor, depending on the focus and scope of the client. City streets, office buildings, or hospitals could all be ideal settings. We envision the KOL using real-world surfaces such as windows, walls, doors, and buildings to track and project 3D data onto- either by gesture or by using a hand-held device. 3D interactive data could also be projected from this device in front of the KOL. We imagine the KOL using gestures to wipe on or off slides of data. We also envision using wide shots for data (such as key takeaways) where we can track and composite 3D charts into cityscapes or buildings.

Target: Patients, Sales Reps, Doctors, KOL Video, Mobile

*The Brand EVGen is a made up brand.

The video here was shot on the 5D, 2D tracked in AE & 3D tracked in Boujou, however the 3d camera track is very sloppy… This was more-so a proof of concept video.  Below are some design comps to support our concept.  Shouts to Cliff Chan for a successful collaboration!  Let’s do it again homie.  Check out his work at http://cliffordchan.com
